Evangelist Daz Chettle came to me to create branding for a new conference called Young and Hungry, which is going to feature some of new Zealand's top evangelists in a weekend of fire, worship and training in Whakatane.
The Young and Hungry logo and branding had to be youthful and exciting. Impacting, and inviting. I chose black and white for a modern feel, and the splash represents impulse, excitement and intent.
I put five designs to the organisers and they liked this one.
I kept all the photos in black and white and added a mint green to soften and add a feminine flavour to the strong black and white design. Green = organic, fresh, new.
Next were the t shirt designs, facebook page, brand manual and flyers for the event.
Young and Hungry is looking to be a massive gathering of energetic youth and adults, swooping down on Whakatane for a weekend of miracles, signs and wonders!
